Mr. Lee Sherman, owner of Western Video, and manager of Western Video’s Canyon Lakes, CA office, was with Perspective Measurement for over thirteen years.  His duties included system design, fabrication and sales.  Prior to being employed by Perspective Measurements, he owned half interest in Scientific Systems, Inc., for eight years.  He was also employed by Cohu, Inc. for over thirteen years as a field engineer and systems sales and design engineer.

Mr. Jerry Parish, manager of Western Video’s Sunrise, FL office, was employed by Cohu, Inc. as manager of their Southeast office for five years prior to joining WVI in 2000.  His duties included system design, sales and direct customer interface on camera and system issues.  He began his employment with Cohu, Inc. in 1973 as a bench technician and worked his way up to a systems design and application engineer.  He then joined Scientific Systems and later Perspective Measurements doing system design, fabrication and sales. 

The principals and staff of Western Video have a combined experience in the video field of over 70 years.  We have provided complete integrated systems for numerous military and government contractors throughout the Southwestern United States.

In addition to Western Video’s capabilities in house, we have the ability to draw upon the production and engineering talents of Instrumentation Technology (ITS), located in Northridge, CA.  ITS has five engineers on staff and has complete production facilities with the capability of providing full hardware and software design in addition to product manufacturing.

Western Video subcontracts specialized requirements for machined parts, special mounting equipment for lenses and cameras, etc., to M K Machine.  M K Machine has been in existence for more than eighteen years 30+ plus years experience in the area of special industrial tools and equipment providing CNC machining.

Western Video, Inc. can supply many customer references, including (but not limited to) systems that have been delivered to NASA at Edwards, Kennedy, Marshal, Stennis and Vandenberg, Pt.
